High Volume Low Turbulence (HVLT) is an advanced Indoor Air Quality (IAQ) technology developed by AirKleen to treat the cabin air in a variety of transportation applications, including school buses.

This “breaktrough” technology uses an advanced air flow design in conjunction with UV-C lighting to neutralize airborne pathogens such as bacterium, viruses, mold, or other microorganisms known to cause illness.

Through rigorous scientific development, AirKleen was able to reimagine and develop a new approach to school bus air management, offering a highly effective solution to enhance passenger safety and comfort.

The United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO) issued AirKleen a patent on this “breaktrough” technology through the COVID-19 Prioritized Examination Pilot Program.
